I lived and studied in Bristol for 4 years - so in many ways it feels like a 3rd home - and is also the place that I had my food awakening. This is a city that’s been at the center of Slow Food and organic food movements in the UK - pioneering in the areas of sustainable eating, food waste initiatives and plant-based eating. From the (really very posh) gastropubs of Clifton Village, to the coffee-shops of Park Street and innovative shipping-container restaurants and breweries along the docks, Bristol’s food culture stands out as one that definitely leads - and doesn’t follow. Worth a safari if you want want to channel this winning energy in your business.
